Mit dieser Reise wurde das Hotel Edoya zu meiner Standard-Anlaufstelle in Tokyo. Vielleicht nicht das beste Hotel, aber ich wei\u00df, was ich habe. Und was ich hier habe, reicht v\u00f6llig. Da ich mich r\u00fcckwarts durch meine Reiseberichte arbeite, will ich mich hier nicht wiederholen. Lest einfach die Info unter Die Hotels 2010<\/a>. Ein kleines traditionelles Ryokan am Ende von Takayama. Es liegt direkt am Flu\u00df. Auf der anderen Seite beginnt das Areal mit den alten H\u00e4usern. Das Ryokan ist ideal f\u00fcr eine pure Japanerfahrung. \/ It is a small traditional rzkoan at the end of Takayama. It is located close to the river on the opposite side of the ancient house area. The ryokan is Japan.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Das Ryokan:<\/strong> Das Ryokan liegt etwas versteckt in einer kleinen Stra\u00dfe. Man \u00fcbersieht es leicht. Von au\u00dfen ist des Geb\u00e4ude unauff\u00e4llig. Der Charme im Inneren ist nicht zu erkennen. Es gibt eine Teeecke, an dieser vorei geht es zu den Tatamizimmern. Am Ende des Flures eine Gemeinschaftsbad. Es ist kein richtiges Onsen, aber das Erlebnis ist das gleiche. Durch die etwas versteckte und gef\u00fchlt abgelegene Lage, zusammen mit den wenigen Zimmern, ist das Ryokan sehr ruhig und urig. Es ist ein Ort, der in Erinnerung bleibt. Ich hoffe es hat sich nichts ge\u00e4ndert (ist ja mittlerweile 6 Jahre her). \/ The ryokan is in a small side alley. You overlook it very easiliy. The building is not spetacular from the outside, but the inside has much charme. The is a tea area with tatami mats. At the end of the floor there is a common bath room; like a little onsen. Because of its location and inside it feels remote and quiet. The memory of this ryokan will stay (it is 6 years already).<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n

Wegbeschreibung:<\/strong> Vom Bahnhof geht es geradeaus (Ekimae Chuo Dori = „Vor dem Bahnhof mittlere Stra\u00dfe“) in Richtung Innenstadt. Am Besten man geht ganz runter bis zur letzten Stra\u00dfe vor dem Flu\u00df. Dann biegt man links ab, kreuzt die Bundestra\u00dfe 158 (Br\u00fccke \u00fcber den Flu\u00df) und l\u00e4uft bis man zur n\u00e4chsten Br\u00fccke (Breit und aus Beton) kommt. Das sind knapp 800m. Dann geht man auf den Br\u00fccke zu und kurz vorher gibt es eine kleine Stra\u00dfe auf der rechten Seite. Zusammen sind es schon an die 1500m. \/ Getting There:<\/strong> Follow the street in front of the station towards city center (Ekimae Chuo Dori = „middle street in front of the station“). Follow the road until you reach the river and turn left. Follow the road until reach the big gray concrete bridge (approx. half mile). Turn right onto the bridge. Right in front of the bridge there is mentioned narrow alley to the right. All together it is a walk of one mile.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Es liegt fast am Wasser ist aber eingekesselt von anderen Geb\u00e4uden. Der Blick aus dem Fenster ist sehr ern\u00fcchternd. Am besten man l\u00e4\u00dft die Seidenpapierfenster geschlossen. Dann ist das Hotel Top. Gleich am Eingang gibt es einen kleinen Steingarten. Die Lobby ist etwas langweilig, der Flur zu meinem Hotel aber die Wucht. Japan pur. Modern, aber im klassischen Stil gehalten. Sehr h\u00fcbsch. Das Zimmer schlie\u00dft sich an. Es ist spartansich eingerichtet, aber das ist bei Tatamizimmern immer so. Und so mag ich es; so habe es gebucht. Erw\u00e4hnenswert ist das Onsen auf dem Dach. Klein, aber es haut einen um. Es ist Oase der Entspannung unter den Sternen. Und wenn man wie ich etwas au\u00dferhalb der Saison hier ist, hat man es f\u00fcr sich alleine. \/ It is close to the water but surrounded by other buildings. Also the view out of my window was not good. It was better to kept the paper shutter closed.\u00a0 Also the lobby is a little bit boring. But between the lobby and the closed shutters the hotel is really a place. The combination of modern styles and traditional elements; this is Japan. My room was a tatami room. I also have to mention the onsen on the roof. It is small but relaxing if you sit in the hot water under the free sky.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Umgebung:<\/strong> Um das Hotel herum gibt es keine Attraktionen. Die Hoellen erreicht man mit einem Bus vom Bahnhof aus. Einige hundert Meter entfernt gibt es einen kleinen Sandstrand. Restos findet man an der Strasse zum Bahnhof. \/ Surrounding:<\/strong> There are no attractions next to the hotel. The famous hells are accessable by a bus that starts at the train station. A few hundred yards away from the hotel is a small beach. Restos can be found at the street to the station.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Wegbeschreibung:<\/strong> Der Weg vom Bahnhof ist eigentlich einfach. Die Stra\u00dfe 32 (Ekimaedori = Stra\u00dfe vor dem Bahnhof). Man kommt unweigerlich zum Kokura Highway. Hier nimmt man die Unterf\u00fchrung. Versucht nach schr\u00e4g links zu gehen, damit ich auf der richtgen Seite rauskommt. Geht dann noch etwas weiter richtig Wasser und nehmt die n\u00e4chste kleine Stra\u00dfe nach links. .. Den Rest mu\u00df ich raussuchen. \/ Getting There:<\/strong> It is easy. Follow the street 32 (Ekimaeodori = big street in front of the station). You will arrive at the Kokura Highway. Use the underpath and try to go to the left. Go further to the water line. The hotel is in the narrow street to the left …. The rest I have to look up.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Wow. So mu\u00df ich es beschreiben. Es liegt direkt am Ufer unweit vom Schrein. Man kann die Strecke vom F\u00e4hranleger gut zu Fu\u00df gehen. Ein Taxi f\u00e4hrt eh nur bis zum Tor auf halber Strecke. Ab dem Tor ist Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerzone. Leider wei\u00df das Hotel um seine gute Lage und die Preise sind etwas h\u00f6her. Zudem ist es schnell ausgebucht. F\u00fcr mich reichte es nur f\u00fcr ein Zimmer im westlichen Stil auf der R\u00fcckseite, was dem Aufenthalt aber keinen negativen D\u00e4mpfer verpa\u00dft. Tatami w\u00e4re die Kirsche auf der Sahne. \/ Wow. That is the word that sums it up. It is directly at the water front close to the shrine. You can walk from the ferry boat. It is in a pedestrian area anyway. Because of its location the hotel is a little bit pricy and it sometimes booked out long in advance. I only got a western style room on the backside. But the rest was awesome.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Nichts gegen das Hotel. Ich hatte zwar ein Raucherzimmer, aber sonst war es ok. Es liegt allerdings toursitisch ung\u00fcnstig in Kita-ku. Zu den Touristenspots mu\u00df man mit der U-Bahn fahren. Einziger Vorteil ist die N\u00e4he zu Oosaka Eki. \/ Nothing against this tiny hotel. It is only at the bottom of my list because I only got a smoking room while I was asking for nonsmoking. Its location in Kita-ku is not good for the tourist attractions, but close to the Osaka station.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Umgebung:<\/strong> Das Hotel liegt in einer Nebenstrasse, die zu einem Kneipenviertel gehoert.\u00a0 Wenn man hier abends eintrifft, wirkt es ein wenig einschuechternd. Aber es ist ruhig. Touristische Attraktionen gibt es hier nicht, dafuer aber die Chance auf ein Feierabendbier. \/ Surrounding:<\/strong> The hotel is a side street, that is part of the pub area. The first view is a little bit frightening. But is quiet inside the hotel. And the good night beer is close by.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Wegbeschreibung:<\/strong> Am besten man nimmt den Weg durch den Untergrund von Umeda. Es ist etwas chaotisch und man verlaeuft sich schnell, aber oberirdisch muss man mangels Fussgaengerueberwege grosse Umwege laufen. Versucht den Ausgang bei Namcoland an der Miyakojima Dori zu finden und folgt der Strasse in Richtung Autobahnbruecke. Unter der Bruecke ist eine grosse Kreuzung: vier grosse Strassen und eine kleine. Geht in die kleine. Schaut bei google-Maps vorbei. Am Haus neben der Strasse ist eine blaues Werbeschild fuer das Hotel, welches in der kleinen Strasse nach etwa 50m auf der rechten Seite ist. \/ Getting There:<\/strong> The shortest way is thru the underground of Umeda.\u00a0 It is chaotic and you can loose direction easily, but upstairs there are no crossings and you have to walk some detours. Try to find the exit at Namcoland in Miyakojima Dori. Follow that big street towards the the expressway bridge. Below the bridge is a street crossing of 5 streets: 4 big one and a little one. The hotel is in this little street after 50m in right side. Take a look at google-maps. There is a building to the left of the street at the crossing with a big blue advertisement for the hotel.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Oike Hotel (Kawaguchiko)<\/strong>

Es liegt etwas abseits vom Bahnhof, am See. Ein Haltepunkt f\u00fcr den Touristenbus, der vier der f\u00fcnf Fujiseen ansteuert ist in Fu\u00dfreichweite. Das Hotel ist vielleicht taktisch ung\u00fcnstig hat aber das bis hier beste Onsen. Wer auf den Fuji klettern will, sollte ein g\u00fcnstigeres Hotel w\u00e4hlen (man spendet ein Nacht auf dem Hotel). Anschlie\u00dfend kann man sich aber mit ein bis zwei Abenden in diesem Hotel belohnen. Mein Onsen-Erlebnis wurde nur durch ein westliches Zimmer gedaempft. \/ It is a little bit away from the train station but close the lake Kawaguchi. A bus stop for the tourist bus that will bring to the other three Fuji lakes (the fifth is gto far away) is in walking distance. The location maybe not strategical perfect, but the hotel rotenburo area makes up for everything. It will be the perfect day after you spend a night at Mt. Fuji. My onsen experience was only reduced by the western style room.

Wegbeschreibung:<\/strong> Vom Bahnhof aus geht ihr zunaechst runter zum See, weg vom Fuji. Einfachster Weg ist die Strasse an der Ampel. Am Ende der 137 nach links runter zum See. Dort angekommen beim Lawson links abbiegen. Folgt der Strasse etwa 500m bis zur naechsten Ampel und biegt links ab. Das Hotel ist der riesige Bau auf der rechten Seite hinter der naechsten Einmuendung. \/ Getting There:<\/strong> From the station go down to the lake; away from Mt Fuji. The easiest way is to go into the street at the traffic light. Go down that street and turn left at the end. The 137 will lead towards the lake. There turn left at the lawson. Follow that street for about a little bit more than a quarter mile until the next traffic light and turn left. The hotel is the big complex on the right side after the next junction.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
