Der zweite Tag stand ganz im Zeichen des Fursuitings (daher keine Fotos) und der Kreuzfahrten. Zum Gl\u00fcck habe ich heute Nacht etwas Schlaf nachgeholt. Ja, ich habe den Rest der ersten Partynacht verpasst, aber ich bin alt. Ich darf das.<\/p>\n

Kreuzfahrten<\/h5>\n

AnthroCon bietet jeden Tag etliche etwa 1-st\u00fcndige Fahrten mit den Ausflugsschiffen an. Diese Chance nutze ich heute gleich zwei Mal. Die erste Fahrt ist ein Fursuit-friendly Cruise. Die zweite Fahrt war dann ein Cocktail-Cruise. Der Abend pendelt zwischen dem Dancefloor und einigen RoomParties.<\/p>\n

Und da der Tag damit auch schon erkl\u00e4rt ist, springen wir gleich weiter zum Samstag und der Fursuit-Parade. Wegen der Anzahl der Suiter musste das Gruppenfoto \u00fcbersprungen werden. Es sindzu viele. Noch haben wir keine Zahlen, aber das klingt gewaltig.<\/p>\n

Wir sammeln uns in Halle D. Es werden immer mehr, und mehr, und mehr. Kurz vor dem Start geht das Ger\u00fccht rum, dass wir \u00fcber 3000 Fursuiter in der Parade haben werden. Wow. Das w\u00e4re der weltweite Con-Rekord.<\/p>\n

Und dann startet die Parade (ich habe ein paar Videos unten angeh\u00e4ngt). Es hat 90 Minuten gedauert, bis der letzte den Raum verlassen hatte.<\/p>\n

Es folgt die Blockparty und ein zweiter Regenschauer. Den ersten habe ich auf dem Boot „verpasst“. Und da ich die Blockparty nicht einplant hatte, muss ich vorzeitig zur\u00fcck ins Hotel. Ich bin immer noch im Suit und heute Abend ist der Dinner Cruise.<\/p>\n

Der Abend ist dominiert von der zweiten Dancefloor Party. Heute wird auch passende Musik gespielt. 2 Stunden Hard Techno. Ich bin echt aus der \u00dcbung. Bei Paratronix habe ich noch 12 Stunden durchgehalten. Allerdings war ich da nicht mehrere Stunden zuvor im Suit unterwegs.<\/p>\n

[Text will be expanded after my trip to Japan.]The second day was all about fursuiting (hence no photos) and cruises. Fortunately, I caught up on some sleep last night. Yes, I missed the rest of the first night of partying, but I’m old. I’m allowed to.<\/p>\n

Cruises<\/h5>\n

AnthroCon offers several approximately one-hour trips on excursion boats every day. I take advantage of this opportunity twice today. The first trip is a fursuit-friendly cruise. The second trip is a cocktail cruise. The evening oscillates between the dance floor and several room parties.<\/p>\n

And since that pretty much sums up the day, let’s jump straight to Saturday and the fursuit parade. Due to the number of suiters, the group photo had to be skipped. There are too many of them. We don’t have any numbers yet, but it sounds like a huge crowd.<\/p>\n

We gather in Hall D. More and more people are arriving. Shortly before the start, rumors spread that we will have over 3,000 fursuiters in the parade. Wow. That would be a worldwide convention record.<\/p>\n

And then the parade begins (I’ve attached a few videos below). It took 90 minutes for the last person to leave the room.<\/p>\n

This is followed by the block party and a second rain shower. I \u201cmissed\u201d the first one on the boat. And since I hadn’t planned on going to the block party, I have to return to the hotel early. I’m still in my suit and tonight is the dinner cruise.<\/p>\n

The evening is dominated by the second dance floor party. Today, they’re playing the right kind of music: two hours of hard techno. I’m really out of practice. At Paratronix, I managed to keep going for 12 hours. But then, I hadn’t been out in my suit for several hours beforehand.<\/p>\n
